Goodbye Arcanum and House Lark :(

First post in years.... Just left The Arcanum yesterday. Tough decision. I agonized over it for a few months. Got to Level 6 but when I saw L8 required 20 "portfolio-worthy" shots, I got a bit intimidated. Plus with everything going on the past year: -Selling condo -Selling Paula house -Buying Bham house -Moving -Cindy hystie -Cindy dental fun -Cindy Tony Robbins seminar in Chicago I wasn't spending enough time in the community, plus, it will be a long time before I get to 20 portfolio shots. On a good note, really getting into black & white fine art, (en)Visionography. Even spent $600 for a 2 day weekend seminar in Chicago with Julia Anna Gosporadou, and it was really cool. I learned a lot. Granted, her speaking portion followed the concepts in the book closely, but it resonated more with her there. It was also super cool to have her critique my Awilda Dreaming shot I had done before, which was my second attempt at Joel Tjintjelaar's workflow technique. After listening to her speak about her concepts, by the time she began showing how to improve the shot (which she liked btw), it was easy to see what needed changing. So I have quite a few shots from two Chicago trips, and my photo shoot in the D, that need processing. But I also still need so much more practice at COMPOSITION. and developing my VISION.
